Terms of Use
By accessing or using this website, requesting a quote, submitting product information, creating an account, or communicating with Motion Metals through this website, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or submit information through it. Motion Metals may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page. Your continued use of the website after any update means you accept the revised Terms.
This website is operated under the public brand name Motion Metals, a trade name used for our industrial parts sourcing business. References to “Motion Metals,” “we,” “our,” or “us” mean the Motion Metals business as presented on this website. Motion Metals is focused on helping U.S. dumpster manufacturers, waste-container businesses, industrial fabricators, repair yards, parts distributors, and related commercial buyers source dumpster parts, metal components, and industrial hardware through managed overseas sourcing channels.
Website Information and Product Information
The information on this website is provided for general business, sourcing, catalog, and quote-request purposes. Product images, descriptions, specifications, dimensions, capacities, materials, finishes, and other details are provided for reference only and may vary based on supplier availability, manufacturing method, buyer requirements, production batch, quantity, and final approved specifications. Motion Metals attempts to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every application.
Product availability, specifications, lead times, pricing, minimum order quantities, samples, packaging, tariffs, duties, freight costs, and delivery options are subject to change. Website listings do not guarantee that a product is stocked, available for immediate shipment, approved for a specific application, or suitable for a buyer’s intended use. Buyers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all product requirements before placing an order.
Quotes, Pricing, and Orders
Quotes are prepared based on the information provided by the buyer, including part photos, drawings, samples, dimensions, material requirements, finish requirements, estimated quantity, target cost, delivery location, packaging requirements, and any other relevant specifications. A quote is not an acceptance of an order and does not create a binding obligation unless Motion Metals confirms the order in writing and any required payment, deposit, sample approval, purchase order, or written confirmation is completed.
Pricing may depend on quantity, specifications, material, finish, tooling, packaging, supplier availability, production timing, freight, tariffs, duties, exchange rates, and delivery location. Motion Metals may revise or withdraw a quote before order acceptance. Unless otherwise stated in writing, pricing is for commercial sourcing purposes and may not include taxes, duties, tariffs, customs fees, inland freight, ocean freight, warehousing, special packaging, inspection costs, or other charges.
Buyer-Provided Drawings, Photos, Samples, and Specifications
Buyers may submit drawings, photos, SKUs, samples, measurements, technical requirements, current supplier references, target pricing, or other information to help Motion Metals prepare quotes or source products. The buyer represents that it has the right to provide such information and that the information does not violate another party’s intellectual property, confidentiality, or contractual rights. Buyer-submitted information should not be considered confidential unless Motion Metals has agreed in writing to a separate confidentiality agreement or non-disclosure agreement.
Motion Metals may use buyer-provided information to review sourcing options, communicate with manufacturing partners, request pricing, prepare quotes, compare specifications, evaluate samples, support production, and fulfill orders. Buyers are responsible for confirming that final quoted or ordered specifications match their application, equipment, manufacturing process, compliance needs, and safety requirements.
Samples, Approvals, and Production
For new, custom, modified, or repeat sourcing programs, samples may be requested or recommended before bulk production. Sample availability, cost, production time, shipping time, and approval process vary by product and manufacturer. If a buyer approves a sample, drawing, photo, specification sheet, or production requirement, that approval may be used as the basis for bulk production. Any requested changes after approval may affect pricing, timing, tooling, availability, or feasibility.
Motion Metals may coordinate with overseas manufacturing partners, suppliers, freight providers, inspection resources, and other third parties to support sourcing and fulfillment. Manufacturing partners are independent entities and are not employees or agents of Motion Metals. Motion Metals works to support clear communication, quote review, specification confirmation, and sourcing coordination, but buyers remain responsible for final application suitability and any required testing, certification, or regulatory review.
Quality Review and Claims
Motion Metals may support practical sourcing safeguards such as sample review, dimensional review, material and finish confirmation, packaging review, production photos, batch photos, or other checks when available and appropriate for the order. These checks do not replace the buyer’s own engineering review, quality control process, incoming inspection, or safety testing. Any product claim, shortage, visible damage, shipping damage, or alleged out-of-spec condition should be reported promptly with photos, measurements, packaging images, order details, and a clear description of the issue.
If a part arrives damaged, short, defective, or inconsistent with approved requirements, Motion Metals will review the issue with the buyer and, when applicable, the manufacturing partner or carrier. Remedies, if any, may depend on the purchase terms, product type, supplier policy, carrier rules, inspection records, approved specifications, timing of the claim, and available evidence. Motion Metals is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect buyer information, unapproved use, improper installation, misuse, modification, normal wear, poor maintenance, unauthorized repairs, or application outside the intended purpose.
Shipping, Lead Times, Duties, and Delays
Lead times are estimates only. Production time, sample time, ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, port congestion, trucking, warehousing, holidays, supplier capacity, material availability, inspections, tariffs, duties, and other factors may affect timing. Motion Metals is not liable for delays caused by manufacturers, carriers, customs, ports, weather, labor disruptions, government action, material shortages, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, buyers are responsible for reviewing the quoted shipping arrangement, delivery location, receiving requirements, unloading requirements, freight terms, taxes, tariffs, duties, and any other destination charges. Risk of loss, title, claims procedures, and delivery responsibilities may depend on the final written order terms and applicable freight or trade terms.
Product Suitability and Buyer Responsibility
Motion Metals supplies or sources industrial parts based on buyer-provided information and available product data. The buyer is responsible for determining whether any product is suitable for the buyer’s intended application, equipment, installation method, load requirement, safety requirement, regulatory environment, and end use. Any working load limits, minimum breaking strengths, capacities, grades, dimensions, or other technical data must be verified by the buyer for the intended use before installation or resale.
Motion Metals does not provide engineering, safety, legal, regulatory, customs, tax, or compliance advice. Buyers should consult qualified professionals where appropriate. Products should be installed, maintained, inspected, and used only by qualified personnel and in accordance with applicable laws, standards, manufacturer recommendations, and safe work practices.
